AhlulBayt News Agency: A group of extremist Jewish settlers established a new illegal outpost west of al-Auja town, north of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, on Friday evening.
According to the Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, local residents from Bedouin communities near al-Auja town reported witnessing settlers erecting metal structures and tarpaulins in the town’s western area, close to the illegal settlement of Niran.
Residents stated that the new settler outpost overlooks both the town and the Bedouin Ka’abneh community.
Last Sunday, settlers set up an outpost near Palestinian homes in the Bedouin community of Shallal al-Auja, north of Jericho.
Recently, Israeli occupation authorities declared their intention to establish 22 settler outposts in the West Bank as part of a broad plan to accelerate settlement expansion in the region.
